That Time of Year

Well kids and coaches (to quote the great Kent Murphy) it's that time of year again. Yep, people are getting ready for the playoffs and other are taking up the costumes, so I imagine morale may be a little low for some as we head into the holiday/job season. Here is a list of things that may lower morale on your staff this year:

  1. Your division doesn't use PSR for playoffs and you finished 6-4 and lost the tie breaker for the 4 spot.

  2. Your admin told you 2 months ago that it didn't matter how many games you won, they are headed in a hot different direction.

  3. Your admin/AD told you that you have reached the storage limit on HUDL and they won't pay for more...figure it out for the playoffs.

  4. Your 10 game starting QB has decided to sit out the playoffs and his backup is et up with the DOODOO virus.

  5. The admin is sitting your 1000 yard RB because he has a 70 in 3 classes from the first 9 weeks.

  6. You made the playoffs but don't have enough money for a winter hoodie for the staff.

  7. Ya'll are in the playoffs and you get the Emerald City official crew.

  8. Your "skill" players have decided not to skill.

  9. You make the playoffs as the 4 and have drawn 4 time consecutive state champs in round 1 and, AND your "star" player is a good kid that plays hard.

  10. The super has suspended all coaching supplements due to the system trying to save money, you however still have to Coach 3 sports.

Well, those are just a few things that may have you down going into the holiday season. Remember you are always 2 men and a truck away from a better situation! With that being said, although we know of 5 or so jobs that are open only one is posted right now:

Bainbridge- they are leaking oil and after winning a state championship, they wouldn't get right and join the 21st century to compete with the locals. You get what you get. To my extensive knowledge (sic) it has been turned down 3 times I know of. Good luck with this one.

College football is over....

Indiana, yes, the Hoosiers, are your National Champions. This is how much the game has changed. Great Coach, great resources, NIL, transfers, and even YOU can win one. So now that the CFP is over,
