OLD MAN YELLING AT CLOUDS

It has been brought to my attention that there are some things in the profession that I need to address as an old head. 1: If administration is trying to micro-manage, leave. You can't control what they do and it's easier for us to just go somewhere else than fight that fight. You will lose every time. B: We used to send hand written letters and resumes. Due to technological advances, we email and text. As an AD and HFC you are now OBLIGATED to respond. This is our current type of communication so do that. If you don't have anything or any intention of hiring the guy, tell him. If he get's butt hurt about it, that's on him. He'll appreciate the honesty in the long run. 3: It's still job season.

Season 5 continues this week with Jeff Herron on Tuesday an Rick Tomberlin on Thursday. These episodes tend to be a little longer than usual but they are WELL worth the listen! If you want to know, learn, remember, or discover the roots of Georgia High School football coaching, you need to listen to the LEGENDS series. All 25 will be LEGENDS or future LEGENDS and will tell stories about people that you may have heard of, but these guys were their contemporaries.
